Exploring is a worksite-based program. It is part of Learning for Life's career education program for young men and women who are 14 (and have completed the eighth grade) through 20 years old.

Exploring's purpose is to provide experiences that help young people mature and to prepare them to become responsible and caring adults. Explorers are ready to investigate the meaning of interdependence in their personal relationships and communities.

Exploring Snow Weekend

Explorer posts and Venturing Crews are invited to stay overnight Friday, February 12th through Sunday, February 14th at a great lodge on Mount Hood not far from Mount Hood Meadows.

Groups plan their own activities during the day on Saturday and Sunday. On Saturday night, there are activities planned by Post 686---they do an excellent job of planning it each year, and it's a lot of fun! All Explorer posts and Venturing Crews are invited to participate in the activities: movies, karaoke, games, prizes, and Cracker Barrel.
